Nature Can Help with Hair Loss

There are several natural remedies for hair loss, balding, and increased hair growth that have proven to be practical, natural, and effective for centuries. Fenugreek, also called Greek hay in English and Methi in India, is one such remedy. Originally from Southeastern Europe and Western Asia, fenugreek was discovered after a German painter used fenugreek seeds to treat his bronchitis. After several months, he noticed that besides clearing his chest, his hair had also begun to improve and even regrow in some places.

Fenugreek is a natural herb with extremely potent seeds, which have a medicinal effect to reduce balding, hair fall, and hair thinning. For hair fall and dandruff, the crushed or boiled seeds alone have been found to restore the hair shaft. The seeds contain hormone precursors that replenish hair growth. Additionally, fenugreek seeds are a good source of nicotinic acid and protein. Protein is highly important in rebuilding and strengthening the hair shaft. In fact, protein balanced diets are emphasized to reduce hair loss and stimulating hair growth. The amount of protein in fenugreek alone may explain its restorative ability on damaged or falling hair.

Doctors and herbalists have also indicated that fenugreek contains a large amount of lecithin, a natural emollient known to strengthen and moisturize hair. By being packed with such powerful nutrients, many natural herbalists, and even Western Asia beauticians, use fenugreek in hair care products to promote growth, luster, health, and shine.

You can purchase fenugreek seeds from your local herb store. To create a hair growth tonic, boil the fenugreek seeds and allow them to soak in extra virgin coconut oil overnight. In the morning, sift the seeds out and apply the coconut oil mixture to your scalp. Massage the oil into your hair and scalp for 5-10 minutes.

Do this consistently for 3 to see results

If you are not familiar or feel uncomfortable about using natural herbs yourself, as you should exercise extreme caution and safety, many companies are now opting to provide natural hair growth products that contain herbs, such as fenugreek. Oh I used IHT 9 as well, its just a regular shampoo and it did nothing for my hair...when i read the above comment I just thought I should put my comment and feedback too, so people can decide for themselves.

And I have heard this fenugreek cure from many , will give it a try...

Hi Ritu,

I am sorry that IHT 9 did nothing for your hair. But, it actually stopped my hair loss. It took over 8 weeks to show results in my case. I don't know for how long you used it. Well, IHT 9 is my regular shampoo. If you have read the ingredients list, then you must know that it contains fenugreek too.

Marco 2 months ago

tyler n 2 months ago

use Rogaine its work for me after 2weeks using .read carefully instruction depend on the situation everyone

lovelylocks 8 weeks ago

Marco u an easier way to do this is:soak 1/2 cup of the seeds in two cups of warm water and leave overnight

in the morning strain the water out and use it (the water) on ur scalp leave in for an hour under a shower cap and do this 2 to three times a week

u can also put everything( the soaked seeds with its water) in a blender to make a paste and use it on ur hair ,but i find that a bit messy pesonally

Personal note i like soaking 1 table spoon of Amla powder along with the fenugreek seeds. Amla has a good reputation for growing out strong hair as well as moisturising it.

Good luck,to allllll of us
